Greece’s first major fashion celebration is set to take place this September with the launch of the 1st Greek Fashion Festival, a two-day event merging fashion, culture, and performance. Scheduled for September 18–19, the festival will unfold at Piraeus 260 – Hall D, under the direction of the Hellenic Fashion Designers Association and with the support of the Athens Epidaurus Festival.
Fashion Meets Performance: Dramodé
The festival opens on Thursday, September 18, with Dramodé, a groundbreaking theatrical fashion show combining elements of opera, theatre, dance, and performance. Directed by choreographer Zoe Chatziantoniou, the production will feature 62 performers, including actors, singers, and dancers, bringing to life iconic characters such as Medea, Norma, Hippolytus, Blanche DuBois, and even Frank Sinatra. Costumes will be designed by 18 top Greek fashion designers, each drawing inspiration from seven decades of historic productions by the Athens Epidaurus Festival.
Among the performers are well-known Greek actors and artists including Aimilios Cheilakis, Elena Topalidou, Giorgos Karamihos, Vassiliki Karayanni, and Melia Kreiling.

- 13:00–15:00 Workshops on fashion education and funding tools, supported by Eurobank.
- 15:00–19:00 Fashion Talks on the intersections of fashion, society, and identity, led by academics, journalists, and cultural figures. Topics will cover fashion’s role in culture, beauty standards in an era of inclusion, and building the next generation of designers.
