MEGA TV will be the exclusive broadcaster of the highly anticipated “MAD Video Music Awards 2025 by DEH”, airing live on Sunday, June 29 at 9:50 p.m.
Now in its 21st year, the MAD VMAs are organized annually by MAD TV, Greece’s first dedicated music television channel, which has been broadcasting since 1996. Inspired by international networks like MTV, MAD TV built a strong local identity by showcasing Greek and international music videos around the clock, spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and more.
With its core audience aged 15–24, MAD TV runs about 30 live shows daily, including music news, video countdowns, celebrity interviews, lifestyle segments, cinema, gaming, and interactive programing.
First launched in 2004, the MAD Video Music Awards (VMAs) quickly became Greece’s leading music event, where the public votes for their favorite music videos and artists.
This year’s televised show will be hosted by Themis Georgantas, joined by a high-energy lineup of “super hosts”: Fipster, Garifalia Kalifoni, Dr. Chris, Giorgos Davos, Marianna Grfld, Ilenia Williams, Athina Klimi, with a special message from Amalia T., sending love from abroad.
On the decks: DJ Antonis Dimitriadis (AD1 MUSIC) alongside Playmen and Matthew Tsachouridis.
Special international guests this year include Norwegian dance pop duo Marcus & Martinus. The night opens with a showstopping video featuring Greek icon Anna Vissi, Georgantas, and the Superhosts.
