I am giving Dave Ildefonso a higher mark than Kai Sotto in this tournament. He took control of the Batang Gilas offense. He was aggressive and was never intimidated despite his bigger and taller opponents. Now I am disappointed with Kai, he was very immature and it showed in his body language. It looked like he didn't jell with the rest of the team. Unfortunately for Kai, this tournament was his make or break tournament for him to be taken seriously by the scouts that were watching all prospects. I don't think he made a good impression. I hope I am wrong because I want Kai to continue his dream of making it big either playing for a D1 team in the US NCAA or for a team in the Euro league and beyond.

In this WC the only countries with b-ball as #1 sport are PH and Lithuania.
Is maybe time to change something in PH b-ball, like letting players from 18yo+ to go playing in EuroLeague
They lack stamina and strength the basics but skills wise is almost the same.
