Greece: Selection of finalists for Greece’s Eurovision 2025 national final completed – Eurovision News | Music

The preliminary jury of ERT has completed its work in selecting the songs that will compete in the national final to determine Greece’s representative for Eurovision 2025. As announced earlier on MEGA’s show Akomi Den Eides Tipota (You Haven’t Seen Anything Yet), the jury has chosen the 12 finalists.

In the coming days, ERT will officially announce the 12 artists who earned their spot through the preliminary jury’s evaluation. These artists will compete on January 30th at the Christmas Theater in the national final, vying for the honor of representing Greece in Basel, Switzerland, at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.

The names of the jury members who selected the 12 finalists will be revealed after the conclusion of the national final. The winner will be determined by a combination of public voting, which will account for 50% of the final score, and two separate juries—one domestic and one international—each contributing 25% to the final results.

A total of 187 artists submitted their entries to ERT, marking Greece’s first open national final for Eurovision in 23 years.

The anticipation is building, as we eagerly await ERT’s final announcements and the unveiling of the 12 artists who will compete in the national final.
