GREECE, N.Y. — The Town of Greece has requested the District Attorney to investigate potential criminal charges against Officer Matthew Bachman, who is linked to the corruption case involving former Deputy Supervisor Michelle Marini.

The Greece Police Department has filed disciplinary charges against Bachman, accusing him of “gross misconduct and insubordination.” They allege that Bachman worked in property management while on disability leave.

This development follows a lawsuit filed by Bachman’s wife against the Town of Greece. She claims she provided authorities with information about improper work being conducted on Marini’s properties by contractors employed by the town.

Last month, Michelle Marini pleaded guilty to grand larceny but avoided jail time.
