Greece Gears Up for Star-Studded 2026 Concert Season


Greece is set to host one of its most exciting concert seasons in 2026, with internationally acclaimed artists spanning rock, pop, metal, and electronic music. The lineup highlights Greece’s continued importance on the European live music circuit.

The season kicks off with heavy metal giants Metallica on May 9 and Iron Maiden with special guests Anthrax on May 23, both performing in Athens. Summer festival highlights include:

  • June 13: Chris Isaak at Lycabettus Theatre, Athens, performing hits like Wicked Game and Blue Hotel.
  • June 15: Limp Bizkit returns with their signature nu-metal sound.
  • June 21: David Byrne and synth-pop trio Nation of Language perform at Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
  • June 24: Nick Cave makes his return to Athens.
  • June 25: Gorillaz, Flaming Lips, and Jehnny Beth light up the stage.
  • June 28: Three Days Grace and Garbage deliver a night of alternative rock.
  • July 1: Electronic music star Moby takes the stage in Athens.
  • July 7: The Offspring and Bad Religion energize fans with punk rock classics.
  • July 10: Helloween, Saxon, and Ashes of Ares perform in a metal extravaganza.
  • July 11: Thievery Corporation, The Wailers, and BALTHVS bring diverse sounds.
  • July 14: Florence & The Machine headline the Ejekt Festival at Telekom Center Athens with their Everybody Scream Tour.
  • July 15: The Cure return to Athens’ OAKA Stadium for their first Greek concert in seven years.
  • July 25: Sabaton, Savatage, and Epica perform at a summer metal festival.

Other notable shows include:

  • January 29: The Dream Syndicate at Gagarin 205, performing their landmark album Medicine Show (1984) in full.
  • June 27: Foreigner makes their Greek debut at OAKA Tennis Center.
  • July 23: Godsmack rocks Lycabettus Theatre for one of the summer’s most intense rock nights.
