The Hellenic Chamber of Hotels’ Boutique Hotel Program showcased the rising power of boutique hospitality at the international Xenia 2025 exhibition, spotlighting new opportunities for small hotel owners and entrepreneurs to invest in distinctive, high-quality accommodation under the banner “Be Boutique.”
With its national certification label and a comprehensive package of benefits, the Program strengthens the prestige and competitiveness of Greek hotels while elevating the overall guest experience.
Throughout the exhibition, the Boutique Hotel Program’s stand became a central meeting point for industry professionals, government representatives, and members of the Chamber’s Board.
Alexandros Vassilikos, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and of HOTREC, emphasized the Chamber’s steady support for the boutique community, noting that “Boutique hotels showcase Greek hospitality at its best and contribute to sustainable tourism growth.”
Scientific Director Emilia Vlamis presented the evolution of the certified boutique hotel community during the Chamber’s 13th General Assembly. The network now exceeds 280 members, reflecting strong momentum. “Boutique no longer refers only to design,” she noted, “but represents an entire philosophy of hospitality.”
As part of Xenia 2025, the Program hosted the thematic event “Be Boutique: The Story Behind the Stay,” where leading professionals highlighted the importance of concept, design, and storytelling in shaping the identity and experiential quality of boutique hotels.
Through its activities at the exhibition, the Boutique Hotel Program emerged as a unified vision and a dynamic collaborative network—championing authenticity, creativity, and modern entrepreneurship. It sets new standards for boutique hospitality in Greece and paves the way for the next era of the Greek hotel industry.
