Grand Rapids Yassou! Greek Festival Returns This Friday

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The annual Yassou! Greek Festival is returning to Grand Rapids in Michigan August 15-16. Held every year in August in Grand Rapids is the beloved family event full of Greek culture, food, music, and kefi – the Yassou!

This year’s event takes place at Grand Rapids’ Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Friday, August 15, from 3 PM to 10 PM  and Saturday, August 16, from 10 AM to 11 PM.

According to the Festival’s site, the event is all about celebrating the culture and traditions of the Greek Orthodox people.

“We look forward to sharing with you our music, dances, gifts, and of course our FOOD,” the site stated.

“We welcome you to visit and tour our beautiful church and ask about our Orthodox Faith. Please spend some of your weekend with us and we are sure you will be glad you did. Opa!”
