Their energy lit up the crowd and reminded everyone of the joy and tradition of Greek celebrations.

The musical entertainment featured traditional bouzouki players, a DJ, and a talented violinist, all working together to create the authentic sounds of Greece that filled the summer air.

Their music set the tone for a day of festive dancing, with children, parents, and teachers taking to the floor to mark the end of the school term.

Guests enjoyed a mouth-watering menu of souvlakia, fresh Greek salads, a variety of traditional dips, bougouri, and a sweet finish of seasonal fruit and ouzo for the adults – all prepared with love and care.

A spokesperson for the event said: “We are especially proud to share that this year’s BBQ was proudly sponsored by Nonna’s Kitchen in Hoddesdon (pictured above) – a beloved local gem known for its authentic Sicilian flavours and warm hospitality.

“We’re proud that this event continues to bring our community together and grateful to the many local businesses who support us year after year.

“Their involvement is a testament to the strong ties between Goffs Greek School and the wider Greek and local community.”
