Giannis Antetokounmpo Leads Bucks to NBA Cup Victory

The NBA Cup was added to the Milwaukee Bucks’ collection after their victory in the Las Vegas final, winning 97-81 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Greek basketball superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, delivered an outstanding performance, leading the Bucks to their first title of the season celebrating their NBA Cup win.

The 29-year-old Greek Freak was incredible, finishing the game with 26 points, 19 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks in 37 minutes of play, shooting 10/19 from the field and 6/11 from the free-throw line.

Thus, the “Deer” became the second team to win the NBA Cup, taking the crown from the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Bucks claimed the NBA Cup, and Antetokounmpo earned the only MVP title missing from his collection.

Now, the Greek star boasts four different MVP awards. He was named NBA MVP in 2019 and 2020, Finals MVP in 2021, and also earned the All-Star Game MVP the same season. This latest addition completes his collection of trophies.

Antetokounmpo becomes the second player in NBA history, after LeBron James, to have four different MVP awards, with LeBron paving the way last year when the Lakers won the NBA Cup.

After the end of the game, the Bucks’ superstar moved everyone, as he dedicated the trophy to his father, Charles, who passed away in 2017. His father would certainly be very proud of him, watching him from above.
