GERMANY: watch “Chefsache ESC 2025” premiere tonight!

The newly established ” Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland? ” , through which this year’s representative of Germany for Eurovision 2025 will be revealed, airs tonight!

The RTL and RTL+ networks will broadcast tonight at 20:15 ECT and 21:15 Greek time , the first of four episodes of the mini-show ” Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland? “, where twelve of the total 24 candidates will give their best, claiming seven tickets for the semi-final of the competition.

This year’s event will once again be hosted by long-time friend Stefan Raab. The outcome of tonight’s episode will be decided entirely by the jury , which consists of Stefan Raab, Yvonne Catterfeld and Elton .

Actress and singer Yvonne Catterfeld , who was a judge again at the 2010 national final, is excited about her return as a judge at the event, stating: ” I am happy for any show that emphasizes music and, in the best sense, live music as well as quality. There are so many excellent musicians who deserve to be heard. This show is a huge opportunity for all these promising talents, ideally beyond the borders of Germany .”

Presenter Elton has also made similar statements, who, when asked about his participation in the jury of “Chefsache ESC 2025″, stated, among other things, the following: ” Now, of course, it is a huge honor to participate in this high-level jury. And if anyone wonders what makes me capable of such a thing – I will put it this way: I am the unknown factor in Raab’s success formula at ESC! And success is always teamwork. Because whether it is Istanbul, Oslo or Düsseldorf – I have been everywhere. It doesn’t have to mean anything, I’m just saying it .”

As announced, out of the total 24 candidates of ‘Chefsache ESC 2025″, 12 will compete in tonight’s first episode of the show and the remaining 12 in tomorrow’s. Specifically, tonight we will enjoy the following artists on stage:

With a father who is a cellist at the Vienna Philharmonic, the two brothers were exposed to classical music at a very early age. They have been collaborating on music production since childhood, and since 2016 they began writing and performing songs as a duo, initially with Abor playing the cello and Tynna on the flute, and later with Tynna taking over the vocals. Since then, the two brothers have moved into the genres of pop, hip hop and electronic music.

Having written more than 100 of his own songs by the age of just 24, Benjamin Braatz aims to present a pop composition at the Eurovision Song Contest that will stand the test of time, while also giving a new stamp to the German entry in the contest. Having written her first song at the age of seven, 22-year-old Berlin singer Enny-Mae has built a loyal following despite only releasing her own music for the past two and a half years. This year, she crossed paths with the duo of producers and songwriters Paradigm , known for their pop and electro-pop productions, with whom she joins forces, aiming to win the Chefsache ESC 2025.

Originally from Münster, 28-year-old Equa Tu mainly works in the genres of rap, pop and reggae music, having started his career by participating in student competitions. His intention? Fannie was born in Switzerland but now lives in Berlin.
