Dimitra Kahrimanidis is a Greek-Canadian singer, lute player and songwriter! Dimitra recently completed her studies in Education in Classical Singing at the University of Toronto in the studio of Mark Daboll. She is also a graduate from the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, majoring in Ethnomusicology and Cultural Anthropology.

Dimitra is a singer specializing in Traditional and Modern Greek Music, but also Classically trained. Her melodic voice and skillful musical abilities enchant audiences wherever she performs. Her passion for music shines through in every note she sings and plays on her lute, captivating listeners and leaving them wanting more.

Dimitra has participated in CDs (“Ti kala to leei t’aidoni”, “The Old Song of Small Aegean”) and TV shows (“Radio Arvila”, ”Oloi oi kaloi horane”, etc) in Greece. She has performed in many festivals and collaborated with artists and groups in Greece, Canada, USA and plans on continuing to expand her reach.

Dimitra is also growing her audience through her Spotify and Youtube channel where she posts her music and covers.
