Athens, Greece (February 2nd, 2025) – Visitors have the opportunity to explore Greece’s rich history for free this Sunday, February 2nd. All state-owned archaeological sites, historical locations, monuments, and museums operated by the Ministry of Culture are open to the public without charge.
This free admission initiative allows everyone to enjoy a “journey through time” by experiencing the country’s cultural heritage. Free admission is offered to all visitors on the first Sunday of each month from November 1st to March 31st.
Additional free admission days include October 28th (National Day), April 18th (International Day For Monuments and Sites), May 18th (International Museum Day), the last weekend of September (European Heritage Days), and March 6th (Melina Mercouri Memorial Day).
