It was recently announced that Monroe will represent France in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest! Her song titled ‘Regarde!’ will be released today at 6 PM CET.
This is the fourth year that France has chosen its representative by direct assignment. After La Zarra in 2023, Slimane in 2024 and Louane in 2025, Monroe takes the baton, aiming of course for victory after 1977!

Who is Monroe?
The young performer became known to the general public through her victory in the French talent show “Prodiges” in 2025, where she stood out for her lyrical voice, stage maturity and technical training.
Of French-American descent and classical music education, the 17-year-old soprano moves in a unique hybrid style that combines opera and contemporary pop and is considered one of the most promising new faces on the French music scene.
Her selection by French public television for Eurovision 2026 marks a strategic shift towards more vocally demanding and artistically daring entries.
Monroe’s participation in Eurovision 2026 is of particular interest, as she combines youthful freshness with classic vocal perfection — a blend that could stand out in this year’s contest.
