FCAO to Hold Annual Testimonial Dinner, Sept. 26

NEW YORK, NY – 

The Federation of Cypriot American Organizations (FCAO) will host its 2025 Annual Testimonial Dinner on Friday, September 26, at 6 pm at Terrace on the Park. 

According to an announcement by FCAO, two distinguished leaders of Cypriot heritage whose work has made a lasting global impact will be this year’s honorees: Panos A. Panay, President of the Recording Academy/GRAMMY Awards, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and Dr. Marina Theodotou, Executive Director of the Center for Frontier AI Security, who will be presented with the Leadership Award. 

Panay has been widely recognized for his leadership and innovation in the global music industry, including his pioneering work as founder of Sonicbids and his executive roles at Berklee College of Music and the Recording Academy.

Dr. Theodotou brings over 30 years of experience in defense, finance, and innovation policy, including her service as Executive Director of the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Board, where she shaped U.S. defense strategy on emerging technologies.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and His Excellency Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, will serve as Honorary Chairpersons for the event.

According to the announcement, the FCAO annual Testimonial Dinner highlights the profound contributions of Cypriot Americans whose work continues to inspire across industries and generations.

“The Federation is truly honored to recognize the remarkable achievements of Mr. Panos Panay and Dr. Marina Theodotou. Congratulations to both honorees as we celebrate the vibrant cultural and professional legacy of our community”, it is noted. 

The Federation of Cypriot American Organizations is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit representing 28 Greek Cypriot American associations across the United States. Its mission is to promote cultural, educational, and philanthropic initiatives that preserve Cypriot heritage while strengthening ties between the U.S. and Cyprus.
