Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia on Tuesday 21st of Jenuary held a celebration which hosted the scholarship recipients under the ministry of education of Greece and the Orthodox Archdiocese of Zambia and Mozambique.
To those youngsters from Zambia and Mozambique was given the opportunity to study in Greece ,a rear opportunity in order to broaden their horizons, utilize their skills and offer better services to the society.
The event was graced by Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of education in Zambia who was Represented by Director of Human Resources in the ministry,the Consul General of Greece in Lusaka, the president of Hellenic Association, the Greek Teacher, Professors from the University of Zambia,the media representatives and parents.
The children were advised to persue their career and work hard as they are the pioneers of their mother Country Zambia.
Finally Metropolitan Ioannis encouraged them to work hard and and he stressed to the audience that that this pilot programe phase will have an another phase to empower more children to have this opportunity.
