Comgest’s former chief executive officer Arnaud Cosserat and European equity specialist Alistair Wittet have returned to the frontline of fund management with their new boutique Aecus, Citywire Selector can reveal.
The Paris-based investment firm will focus on long-term European and global equity strategies. It has launched with initial capital of €100m, pulled from investors, friends, family and Cosserat’s and Wittet’s personal accounts.
Aecus intends to launch a Ucits-compliant fund offering in 2025, as well as segregated mandates.
