Greek singer Akylas thrilled the Serbian television audience with a dynamic performance of his Eurovision 2026 entry “Ferto” in the Grand Final to select Serbia’s representative for Eurovision 2026.
Akylas appeared as a special guest at the Final of the show “Pesma za Evroviziju 2026” of the public broadcaster RTS on 28 February, presenting his song “Ferto” to the Serbian and international audience.
The German audience also got a taste of “Ferto” as an excerpt from Akyla’s performance in “Sing for Greece 2026” was shown on the first channel of ARD during the National Final “Eurovision Song Contest – Das Deutsche Finale”.
It is also worth noting that during his visit to Serbia, Akylas made many appearances in the country’s media, talking about “Ferto” and the Greek participation in the popular song contest.
A special moment was Akylas’ meeting with the iconic artist and Eurovision legend Zeljko Joksimovic, who revealed that he particularly loves the song “Ferto” and supports the Greek participation in Eurovision.
He also offered a symbolic gift to Akylas, saying, with humour, that he has given him the nickname “Akyla Fertovic”.
For his part, Akylas, in an extensive interview he gave to the Serbian channel K1 Television, spoke about the meeting, stating that Zeljko Joksimovic gave him helpful advice and wished him good luck.
Greece’s Eurovision representative appeared live on a morning show on RTS and gave numerous interviews to radio stations and other leading media outlets in the country.
Akylas continues his intensive preparations for the big Eurovision stage where he will represent Greece.
