The countdown to the 69th Eurovision Song Contest is officially on! With just two days left until the first semi-final, four until the second, and six until the Grand Final next Saturday, fans and bookmakers are ramping up their predictions.
Following the completion of the second rehearsals for all participating countries, one of Eurovisionfun’s most popular features returns: the in-depth betting analysis for Eurovision 2025 is back!
Can Anyone Challenge Sweden?
The big question heading into the most exciting week of the year is whether any country can challenge Sweden, the outright favourite to win Eurovision 2025.
Sweden – the contest’s most successful country – remains in pole position in the odds. While there’s been a slight dip since our last analysis, Kaj’s odds remain strong, with most bookmakers offering above 2.00, some even up to 2.25.
Austria Rises, France in Pursuit
In second place and narrowing the gap is Austria. After two confident rehearsals, JJ and his song “Wasted Love” have strengthened their case as Sweden’s main rival. Austria’s odds now range from 3.1 to 3.6, reflecting a noticeable improvement in winning potential.
France sits in third, fresh off its second rehearsal. Louane hopes to deliver the country’s first Eurovision victory in nearly 50 years, though her odds, ranging from 8.00 to 13.00, show she still has ground to make up.
Israel and Finland Round Out the Top 5
Israel is holding steady in fourth place, despite slightly higher odds after the first rehearsals. Finland completes the Top 5, benefitting from a recent boost in confidence. Odds for Israel go up to 19.00, while Finland’s odds hover around 26.00.
Belgium Sneaks In, Netherlands Drops
Belgium continues its quiet climb, now in sixth place. Red Sebastian is even ranked within the Top 5 on some platforms, with odds between 13.00 and 29.00.
In contrast, the Netherlands appears to be the big loser after rehearsals. Once a top contender, Claude’s second rehearsal snippet didn’t impress, and the country has fallen to seventh place. Dutch victory now pays up to 31.00 times the stake.
Estonia, Malta & Switzerland Enter the Spotlight
Estonia climbed one spot but didn’t see a drop in its odds. Tommy Cash’s edgy entry still sits high, with odds reaching up to 51.00.
Malta made a leap to ninth place, securing its Top 10 spot just before the live shows begin.
Switzerland, this year’s host country, is the biggest gainer after two strong rehearsals. Once overlooked, its odds have plummeted and now range from 26.00 to 67.00. A Top 10 finish is looking increasingly likely.
Cyprus & Greece: Mixed Fortunes
Cyprus now sits in 13th place, three spots below Switzerland, with odds still hovering between 41.00 and 101.00. Theo Evan’s “Shh” sparked buzz after the first rehearsal photos, and hopes remain for a return to the Top 10 during the live shows.
Greece, however, drops one position to 21st, with odds ranging from 81.00 to 301.00. Despite a solid presentation, Klavdia’s “Asteromata” hasn’t significantly shifted bookmakers’ confidence, distancing Greece from the Top 15.
