ERT announce 12 acts for national final


Ahead of Greece’s first national final since 2015, ERT the national Greek broadcaster has announced the 12 acts that will compete to represent the nation on the Basel stage this May!

12 acts to headline Greek national final

A total of 12 acts will participate in the national final on January 12. ERT has now revealed the artists and their songs that will compete for a chance to represent the Hellenic nation in Basel, Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 this May. The artists and their songs are as follows:

  • Andy Nicolas – ‘Lost My Way’
  • BARBZ – ‘Sirens’
  • Evangelia – ‘Vale’
  • Nafsika – ‘Unhurt Me’
  • Dinamiss – ‘Odyssey’
  • Thanos Lambrou – ‘Free Love’
  • Ricky – ‘Elevator’
  • Constantinos Christoforou – ‘Paradisos’
  • Georgina Kalais and John Vlaseros  – ‘High Road’
  • Xannova Xan – ‘Plate’
  • Klavdia – ‘Asteromata’
  • Kostas Ageris – ‘Gi mou’

All of the songs are available on the online ERT platform.

Among the lineup is Constantinos Christoforou who has represented near neighbour Cyprus on three previous occasions – 1996, 2002 and 2005. Also competing is, Xannova Xan who represented Greece at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005.

On January 30 the Final will take place at the Christmas Theatre in Galatsi, Athens. The show will be hosted by former Eurovision winner, Helena Paparizou and Greek representative in 2004 and 2009, Sakis Rouvas. To decide the winner there will be three voting components. The public vote will comprise 50% of the score. Whilst the remaining 50% will be comprised of the scores from the national and international jury. Should the evening conclude with a tie, the public voting will be the tie breaker.
