Eden Golan: “Perhaps the most disgusting towards me were the Irish, the Greek, or the Dutch – Karma comes back!” – Eurovision News | Music

Israel’s representative at Eurovision 2025, Eden Golan, reignited controversy with a bold statement she made during a recent interview. When asked who treated her the worst during this year’s contest, she did not hesitate to point the finger at three specific countries.

“You could say it was the Irish, the Greek, or the Dutch. Karma comes back! Oh, can I say that? Anyway, everything comes back. I truly believe in karma and energy. Amidst all this hate, I came with only love. I believe everything comes back, and I saw it come back – even from people who aren’t Israeli or Jewish, from all over the world.”

Her response quickly went viral, sparking a storm of reactions on social media. As a reminder, last year’s Eurovision representatives were Marina Satti for Greece, Joost Klein for the Netherlands, and Bambie Thug for Ireland.

Eden Golan also voiced her disappointment regarding the EBU and organizers’ decision to allow Palestinian flags back into the audience this year, while expressing hope that many Israeli flags would be present as well.
