Divock Origi has left Milan by mutual consent, having not played for the Italian club since the 2022-23 season.
The 30-year-old striker joined the Serie A side as a free agent in the summer of 2022 after the expiration of his Liverpool contract, and scored twice in 36 appearances in his debut season.
The 32-time Belgium international has not played for Milan since, spending 2023-24 on loan at Nottingham Forest — where he scored once in 22 appearances — and where he played his most recent match, a 2-0 Premier League defeat at Everton in April 2024.
Origi, who scored 41 goals across seven seasons at Liverpool and helped the club to the 2018-19 Champions League title and the Premier League success the following year, is now a free agent.
The former Lille striker most famously scored twice, including the winning goal, in the 2019 Champions League semi-final comeback against Barcelona, and scored the second goal in the 2-0 final victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
Origi featured eight times for Milan in their run to the Champions League semi-final stage in 2022-23.
His exit from Milan comes after West Ham United striker Niclas Fullkrug was given permission to undergo a medical with the Italian club.
Milan are currently second in Serie A, one point behind league leaders Inter.
