The songs of Dora 2025 were announced today by HRT and through the show “Svijet Diskografie”. One of them will be invited to represent Croatia at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest , in May, in Basel, Switzerland.
The presentation of the songs was carried out on behalf of HRT by the experienced journalist Zlatko Turkalj!

We remind you that the above list has been formed after two shocking disqualifications!
- Initially, LSQ & Lara, who were to perform “Mama”, unexpectedly withdrew. The reasons for their elimination have not yet been revealed, but the Swingers took their place in the competition with “FUL KUL”.
- The second shocking elimination came from Natalie Balmix, who was to compete with the song “ŽIVOT IDE DALJE”. According to the HRT announcement, the final version of the song, submitted on January 5, changed more than 50% musically and lyrically, compared to the form in which it was selected by a seven-member jury. This fact caused the elimination of Natalie, whose place was filled by Fenksta with the song “Extra”. Natalie Balmix’s appeal to HRT and Dora 2025 is pending in this case! We met Natalie last year when she made her maiden appearance at the event with “Dijamanti” and she was one of the big names of this year’s competition!
Two more songs are vying for a spot in Dora, albeit subject to additional elimination, and they are the following:
- Patricia Gasparini – KARMA
- llyricum – TANANAI
To help listeners get to know the performers and their songs better, Croatian Radio has prepared a series of 49 special programs entitled Ususret Dori 2025, which will be broadcast daily through Croatian Radio’s regional programs.
Who’s returning?
Among the finalists we find a number of names from the Croatian music scene , who are also known to Eurofans due to their previous participations, either in Eurovision or in Dora !
- Magazin:Croatia’s representatives at Eurovision 1995, with the song “Nostalgija”, have many participations in the Croatian Music Festival, mainly in the 90s and 00s. Since then, the group has undergone some structural changes and in the last year their main vocalist has been Lorena Bucan, who has competed at the festival in both 2019 and 2020.
- Jelena Radan: It took Jelena Radan sixteen whole years to reappear in the spotlight, after 2009 when she competed with “Voljet cu te sutra”.
- Marin Jurić Čivro: Competed in 2020 with the song “Naivno”.
- Marko Bošnjak: Marko Bošnjak participated in the festival in 2022 with the song “Moli za nas”.
- Marko Tolja:Marko Tolja has competed twice, in 2007 with “Deja Vu” and in 2009 with “Stranci”.
- Marta May: Marta May seems to have gained beautiful experiences from Dora 2024 with “Distance”, who returns this year with “Running to the Light”.
Dora 2025 – Mark the following dates!
The Croatian National Final will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 in the coastal town of Opatija, preceded by 2 semi-final nights on February 27 and 28 respectively!
