Columbia’s 38th Annual Greek Festival returns this week

The 38th annual Greek Festival returns to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral for four days of food, music, and community, running September 18–21.

Hosted at the cathedral’s campus at 1931 Sumter Street, the festival invites the public to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of Greece—right in the heart of downtown Columbia.

From traditional Greek dishes and pastries to live music and folk dancing, the event offers a rich taste of Greek heritage. Visitors can enjoy a variety of food and drink options, shop for imported goods, and take guided tours of the historic cathedral.

According to the festival organizers, “It’s your chance to be Greek for a week.”

Festival hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is free.
