A North Staffordshire chocolate shop and café is being transformed into a ‘full Greek escape’.
Michaela Jones launched Mishka Truffles in Stone just over a year ago but has announced it is changing its focus to Greek iced coffees, mocktails, cocktails and a weekly special Greek dessert.

The decision was inspired by Michaela’s four years living in Greece before coming to England and changes will slowly come into place from Monday.
She said: “Since the moment I started playing Greek music in my café, something shifted. Not just in the vibe of the place but in me too. It brought back that feeling I had when I lived in Greece, where life moves a little slower, people smile a little more, and everyone talks to you like you’re already part of the family. And let’s face it, with the good old British rainclouds always lurking, who wouldn’t want a little sunshine escape?”
Premium chocolate products and workshops will still be a big part of the High Street business but every day of the week will be dedicated to a different ‘temptation’.
Another new introduction will be chocolate-based gelato, including one inspired by the popular Dubai-style chocolate.

Michaela, pictured above, added: “I’m not just doing this for aesthetics or trends. I’m doing it for the same reason I started Mishka in the first place – to create a place where people feel welcome, where kindness is served.
“Think loukoumades, galaktoboureko, and yes – chocolate baklava. Because let’s be honest, my two great loves are chocolate and Greece, and it was only a matter of time before they had a little love affair on the menu.
“This isn’t just a café makeover. It’s a mood. It’s a movement. It’s a mini Greek island with truffle options. A little sunshine on the high street that you didn’t know you needed but won’t want to leave.”
