Campaign highlights premium Greek raisins and olive oil in the UK

A groundbreaking three-year campaign is shining a light on high-quality European raisins and premium olive oil.

Precious Europe is addressed to the markets of the United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland.

It aims to provide information about the high quality of European agricultural products and highlight European history, tradition, and experience in producing and processing olive oil and raisins.

The promoted products are produced and processed by an association of three Producer Organizations located in Corinth, Peloponnese.

From diverse and fertile soils to time-honoured techniques and cutting-edge technologies, European agriculture is at the forefront of quality and sustainability.

By investing in research and development and implementing sustainable and eco-friendly practices, European farmers and food producers will continue to produce some of the world’s most renowned and high-quality agricultural products for generations to come.

Greek Premium Raisins are popular for their unique taste and texture

Greek Premium Raisins

Greek Premium Raisins are a type of dried grapes produced in Greece.

They are popular for their unique taste and texture and are considered one of the country’s traditional and authentic products.

This type of raisin is produced from small and seedless grapes grown in the Corinth region.

The grapes are left to dry naturally on the vine, and then they are further sun-dried on straw mats or in special ovens until they reach the desired moisture content.

The resulting raisins are small and have a sweet and fruity taste unique to the Corinthian variety.

Premium Greek Olive Oil is highly regarded across the world

Premium Greek Olive Oil

Premium Greek Olive Oil is highly regarded across the world.

Olive orchards are cultivated across Greece’s ideal climate and soil varieties.

The olive oil varies in colour from clear yellow to golden while some varieties obtained from unripe fruit have a greenish tinge.

The Producer Organizations’ products include different varieties and qualities of olive oil that are personalised depending on the consumer’s needs.

It can be used for several purposes, such as cooking, baking, preparing marinades, salad topping, or even just dipping with a piece of bread.

The packaging varies from 250ml to 5,000ml glass, carton, tin or plastic bottles.

Know what you’re eating

From olive oil to raisins, European agriculture is synonymous with excellence and quality.

One of the key factors contributing to the success of European high-quality agriculture products is the region’s diverse and fertile soils.

The continent boasts many climates and terrains, from lush vineyards to sun-soaked olive groves.

This diversity allows farmers to cultivate various crops, each with its unique flavour and nutritional profile.

Another factor contributing to the success of European high-quality agriculture products is the region’s strong traditions of craftsmanship and innovation.

For centuries, many of Europe’s most famous agricultural products have been produced using the same time-honoured techniques passed down from generation to generation.

In addition to these traditional methods, European farmers and food producers are also at the forefront of innovation and research.

European countries have invested heavily in research and development, leading to new techniques and technologies that have improved the quality and sustainability of agricultural products.
