Shine On! Extravaganza
Shine On! is Visible Men Academy’s premiere Spring fundraising event uniting a vibrant community committed to empowering young scholars and expanding opportunities for those who need it most. The event takes place Friday, 6 to 10 p.m., at The Ora in Sarasota.
20 Years of Friday Night Shuffle
This anniversary party celebrates 20 years of Friday Night Shuffle at St. Pete Shuffle. The party, including live music, cake, a food truck and a limited-edition shirt, is set for Friday, 7 to 10 p.m.
St. Pete Youth Farm Earth Day
The St. Pete Youth Farm hosts Earth Day at the Farm on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be games, painting, music, food, resources, workshops on sustainability and more.
Green Thumb Festival
St. Petersburg’s annual Arbor Day Celebration, the Green Thumb Festival, brings together plant and flower lovers, as well as, individuals and families looking for a fun weekend activity. With more than 120 garden, plant and flower vendors and exhibitors, the annual event brings the community together Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Walter Fuller Park.

Discover handmade original works of art and fine craftsmanship – including jewelry, paintings, photography, ceramics, home decor and pet accessories, as well as live plants and tasty treats – on Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in downtown Dunedin.

Sample brunch bites by Tampa Bay area restaurants as you sip on bubbles, shop local vendors and tour the historic century-old federal courthouse in Tampa on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Super Greek Pop-Up Festival
Taste the flavors of Greece in this one-day pop-up event on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., at St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church in St. Petersburg. In addition to food, there will be live music, as well as Greek dance and language lessons.
Tampa Bay Black Heritage Music Festival
This two-day music festival, featuring Eric Darius, Morris Day and the Time, Jeff Bradshaw, and more, takes place Saturday and Sunday at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at noon.
Run for the Roses
Celebrating the 150th Kentucky Derby, this fundraiser hosted by the Friends of the New Port Richey Library on Saturday, noon to 2:30 p.m., at Sasha’s on the Park in New Port Richey, will outfit the new Mobile Library Branch bookmobile.
Charity for a Cause Pickleball Tournament
