The Greek National Opera Alternative Stage presents the Greek premiere of “Ben and Imo,” a music theater work by British playwright Mark Ravenhill. Set in 1952, the piece explores the complex creative relationship between composers Benjamin Britten and Imogen Holst as they navigate artistic pressure and emotional tension. Directed and translated by Giorgos Skevas, the production blends spoken word, live music and theatrical intimacy, unfolding as a chamber work on collaboration, vulnerability, and the fragile balance between ambition and friendship.
