The Bayou Classic held the annual Greek Step Show and the Battle of the Bands in the Caesars Superdome the night before the big football matchup between Southern University and Grambling State University.
The show started with a performance by the Roots of Music. The Invitational High School Battle of the Bands followed with 4 schools: 2 local, 1 from Texas and another from Tennessee. Fraternities and sororities from SU and GSU showed off in front of a table of judges for the Greek Step Show before the Grambling State University Tiger Marching Band took on the Human Jukebox in the Battle of the Bands.
