LGBTQ+ events span the entire month of June, but this weekend is Baltimore’s official turn in the spotlight with the city’s Pride parade and other activities.
In addition to Pride, residents and visitors can also enjoy fresh lavender at the Lavender Festival, Greek food and culture at the St. Nicholas Greek Folk Festival, and more.

Twilight Thursdays: Foundry Row Summer Concert Series, Thursday, June 12 through Thursday, August 14, Foundry Row. Foundry Row’s weekly summer concert series is back, featuring performances from top local bands and a beer and wine garden, presented by Mama’s On The Half Shell Owings Mills.

Friday Night Live: Summer Concert Series, Friday, June 13 through Friday, August 22, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Hunt Valley Towne Centre. Enjoy live music from your favorite local bands every Friday on the upper deck between California Pizza Kitchen and Sammy’s Trattoria.
The Legwarmers, Friday, June 13, 7 p.m., The Recher. Relive the 80s with The Legwarmers: The Ultimate 80s Tribute Band. With more moves than a Rubik’s Cube, the Legwarmers take the stage like it’s prom night in a John Hughes movie.
Morphing Grid, Friday, June 13, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Motor House. A Future House, R&B, and video game party. The event will showcase a dynamic mix of games, visuals, comics, manga, and music throughout the night, all brought to you by the MorphingGridRadio team. Held the second Friday of every month. Flea Market, Saturday, June 14, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hiss United Methodist Church (8700 Harford Road). Find a new treasure among someone else’s old items at this flea market.
Pride Parade, Saturday, June 14, parade begins at 11 a.m., route starts at Charles Street and North Avenue. Cheer on floats, drag royalty, community organizations, marching bands, and other parade participants in this celebration of LGBTQ+ past, present, and future. The parade will be followed by a block party from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Charles Street and 29th Street.
Spring Cleaning Art Market, Saturday, June 14, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Peabody Heights Brewery. An art market filled with affordable original works from 45 Maryland and surrounding area artists, with all pieces priced at $250 or lower. Artists clean out their studios, you get a great deal! Checkerspot 7th Anniversary, Saturday, June 14, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., Checkerspot Brewing Co. Checkerspot Brewing is turning 7 and they’re inviting the community to celebrate with music, beer and food throughout the day. The musical lineup includes Grayson Moon (2-4 p.m.), Baltimore Twilighters Marching Band (5 p.m.), Odelia Elliot (6-8 p.m.), DJ Mudbone (8-10 p.m.). Checkerspot will be releasing Zeven, a Dutch Küyt. They will also serve wine on tap, seltzer, non-alcoholic beer and food.

Over in northwest Baltimore, the Pride festivities continue at Druid Hill Park with live performances, DJ sets, art, games, photo ops, giveaways, community vendors, food trucks, and fun for the whole family (pets included).
