The song that will represent the land of fire at Eurovision 2025 has just been released. As announced a few days ago, the band Mamagama is the one that will represent Azerbaijan this year at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, as they finished first in the internal selection of the state-owned broadcaster, Ictimai TV. Their song, “Run With U“, is available on all electronic platforms, and you can listen to it below!
A few words about Mamagama
This is not the first time that the band in question has been involved in the Eurovision Song Contest, as Mamagama once again dominated the spotlight in the not-so-distant 2023. Specifically, for those who don’t know who Mamagama are, they are a band from Azerbaijan. The band had submitted a bid to represent the country in 2023 , however, since one of its then members, Poman Zee, was originally from Russia, the band’s lineup changed at the last minute, and Allahverdi Humbatli and Bahruz Efendiyev joined the group instead of Roman. Based on the regulations set by Azerbaijan, it cannot be accepted that the person who will represent the country is a citizen of a foreign country. As a result, many Eurovision fans began to assume that Mamagama would be the country’s new representatives in the contest, which did not happen, with the country being represented that year by TuralTuranX .
