I stand at the end of a hall lined by Doric columns, listening to the sea lap against the sandy shore where the fisher-people gather. The sky is a bright blue, the crystal-clear water the same, and small birds chirp in the olive groves. From ahead the sound of a cithara can be heard, every note strong and clear. I wrap my cloak over my arm and turn towards the door where my family awaits. I am home at last.
