Armenia U17 National Team Draws with Greece (GOALS VIDEO)

The Armenia U17 national team drew 2-2 with their peers from Greece in the second friendly match. The game took place on September 18 in Yerevan.

The hosts fell behind twice but managed to equalize both times. In the first half, a “Shirak” academy player Mher Harutyunyan scored after a corner kick, while in the second half, Armen Ghazaryan from the Spanish “Boadilla” academy found the net.

It should be reminded that in the first match on September 16, the Greek team won 3-1.

These games were part of Armenia’s preparation for the UEFA U17 European Championship qualifying round. In August, Alexander Petrosyan’s team had already played two friendlies against Moldova, winning both.

In the qualifying stage of the UEFA U17 European Championship, Armenia will compete in a group with Finland, Northern Ireland, and Cyprus. The matches will take place in Cyprus from October 28 to November 3.
