Ancient Greek astronomy, Antarctic expedition and Lady Chatterley’s Lover


Dr Chris Matthew, lecturer at Australian Catholic University, discusses the Ancient Greeks and astronomy.  What they thought about our place in the skies, and the models they used to try to explain what they saw. 

Next month Queenslander James McAlloon will undertake a major Antarctic expedition. It’s a sea-to-summit journey that will involve cross-country skiing for 600km and finishing with a climb of nearly 5,000m to the continent’s highest peak, Mt Vinson.
