AC Milan keeping an eye on two talented Greek players

As revealed by La Gazzetta dello Sport‘s website, a Milan scout was present during the Europa League match between Olympiacos and Bodo/Glimt. This was for two potential transfer targets: the Rossoneri, according to the report, are monitoring Olympiacos’ two most promising young talents, Christos Mouzakitis and Charalampos Kostoulas.

The first, Mouzakitis, is a left-footed midfielder born on Christmas Day in 2006. He possesses technique and vision, and this season he has made 30 appearances for the first team. In the Europa League, he started against Porto, Braga, Rangers, and other teams.

Kostoulas, on the other hand, is a center forward born in 2007. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he is an energetic and determined striker who has consistently played against older opponents. Milan reportedly took notes on him in recent months.

Are Mouzakitis and Kostoulas two concrete transfer targets for AC Milan?

According to the source, these would be difficult moves. Olympiacos is looking to build its outgoing transfer strategy around them in the coming years, and in Greece, there is talk of valuations for them around 20 million euros, with several clubs interested, including Arsenal and Aston Villa. If the Rossoneri management wants to sign them, it will have to invest well. The decision will be up to the Rossoneri’s new sporting director, as relayed via PianetaMilan.it.
