In Thessaloniki, expect a rainy day as well, with temperatures ranging from 2°C to 10°C. Winds in the Thermaic Gulf will blow at 6–7 Beaufort.
The unsettled weather pattern will continue for much of Greece Christmas Eve. Rain showers will persist in many areas, keeping the festive preparations wet and wintry.
On Christmas Day, localized rain will concentrate in the eastern mainland, central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, and across the Aegean islands. Cooler conditions will prevail, creating a seasonal atmosphere, especially in the northern regions.
