Belgrade River Fest celebrated its fifth anniversary in spectacular style. Thousands of music lovers gathered at the exclusive riverside venue at Belgrade Waterfront for two unforgettable nights of world-class entertainment.

Set against the backdrop of the Sava River and the open summer sky, the festival once again demonstrated why it is considered one of the region’s leading music events.

The anniversary edition began on June 16 with a performance by global Latin music icon Ricky Martin. From the moment he stepped on stage, the audience was on its feet. Fans sang and danced along to his biggest hits throughout the evening.

Known for classics such as Livin’ la Vida Loca, She Bangs, and La Copa de la Vida, Martin delivered a dynamic show filled with energy and charisma. In addition, his impressive choreography captivated the crowd. The production met the highest international standards. As a result, the audience enjoyed a truly memorable concert experience. Moreover, his appearance brought a global spotlight to Belgrade and became one of the festival’s standout moments.

Nikos Vertis Brings Mediterranean Magic

The celebrations continued on June 17 with Greek superstar Nikos Vertis, one of the most prominent artists of the contemporary Greek music scene and a leading figure in Mediterranean pop. Returning to Belgrade after several successful appearances and overwhelming interest from local audiences, Vertis once again demonstrated why he enjoys such a devoted following throughout the Balkans and beyond.

Accompanied by a twenty-piece band, he delivered an emotional and powerful performance. Fans enthusiastically sang along to favorites including An Eisai Ena Asteri and Thelo Na Me Nioseis. Meanwhile, the warm Mediterranean atmosphere of his music blended perfectly with the riverside setting. As a result, the evening felt truly magical for everyone in attendance.
