We used to drive up to the alps but they had a landslide several times and we had to turn around. Switzerland is the most expensive country in Europe.
I practically lived at this Italian restaurant from 16 to 21. The owner and waitress knew me so well. If any GIs spilled their drinks the would tell me I knew where the mop was. Lol.
I used to get crepes every morning at the Frankfurt bahnhof on my way to work.
I grew up in Europe. My father was stationed there and later retired there. 72 to 96 were the best years of my life. The food is amazing.

Fun fact – the Nutella ice cream has DEFINITELY been available not ONLY in Italy. We've had it in Switzerland in pretty much every shop in the summer 😀
