Oakleigh isn’t just Greek-inspired… it IS Greece. Loud, proud, and packed with flavour.

Kalimera completely overated dont eat there anymore
$16 in Sydney for the traditional gyro, quite steep and mostly onion. I wait until I go to Greece to eat.
Kebab or Souvlaki? Cmon there's no comparison. Souvlaki and gyros are the BEST
Charcoaled meat, seasoned to perfection, fresh salads, home made tzatziki, home made pita bread.
Kebabs are the poor man's alternative.
Don't know how you can say Orexi souvlaki can be for two? At $17, I thought it was a bit small. Could comfortably eat two as a 70kg male haha 😅

My parents immigrated from southern Greece to Melbourne back in 1960. Oakleigh has the largest Greek population in Victoria. If you love Greek food, especially a charcoal souvlaki, Oakleigh is a must visit.
I always thought Oakleigh restaurants were overrated, drinking coffee from Vanilla was like drinking an ashtray.
Orexi is very average. My home made kills orexi. Ive taken people to orexi and so 99% have said its average. Kalimera is getting shitter and shitter first some reason
