Former Albanian national team player, Andi Lila, has been involved in the negotiation process for the change of ownership of the Greek club PAS Giannina.

An entrepreneur from Albania has officially expressed interest in purchasing shares in this sports club. In early May, the parties held an official meeting in the city of Ioannina to discuss the possible terms of the deal.

The interested investor was familiar with the club’s financial situation and the outstanding debts that need to be paid. Lila was part of the negotiating team, serving as a liaison due to his eight years of experience with the team.

During this visit, the Albanian representatives also inspected the training infrastructure of the PEAKI center. The progress of the talks is expected to be conditioned by the team’s relegation to a lower category next season.

After July 1, the management of the process will be transferred to the new management structures of the Greek club. This step aims to stabilize the situation and the administrative restructuring of PAS Giannina. The parties are expected to continue contacts to determine the final modalities of the transfer of ownership.
