Holy City Burger Battle 2026
Smash a few patties and stomach some sliders at this year’s Holy City Burger Battle starting at noon this Saturday, May 9. Make your way out to Holy City Brewing, 1021 Aragon Ave., North Charleston, which will be grilling up a storm to find the best burgers in town. Attendees can sip on Holy City’s local brews, listen to live music and meet the competition of grill masters dishing out all-you-can-eat sliders as long as supplies last. A professional panel of judges alongside this year’s ticket owners will vote for their favorites in order to crown 2026’s burger superstar. Wind down your weekend with a brand new mini music festival in the Holy City: Pitstop, over at Charleston Music Farm, 32 Ann St., this Saturday, May 9. The festival kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a bang as six bands rock the stage all evening long. On the lineup is psych band Frankie and the Witch Fingers, punk band Snooper, local dystopian alt band Art Star and more energetic performances that will leave you with a rush. Mama Fest
The Marshgrass Mamas are performing a special Mother’s Day concert.
Celebrate Mother’s Day with that special lady in your life at Mama Fest, hosted by local bluegrass troupe Marshgrass Mamas starting at noon on Sunday, May 10. The holiday concert is scheduled for The Rickhouse at Cannon Distillery, 1734 Signal Point Road, James Island.
