Images released from the first rehearsal of Greece’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 offer an early look at the staging and artistic direction behind the song “Ferto,” performed by Akylas.
The track blends contemporary dance-pop with techno influences, driven by strong rhythmic energy and electronic production aimed at broad international appeal.
While designed to be immediately engaging on the dance floor, “Ferto” also explores themes of excess desire and the constant pursuit of more, incorporating personal elements that add emotional depth to its high-energy sound.
The visual concept of Greece’s entry is by artistic director Fokas Evangelinos, a prominent figure in Eurovision staging.
This year’s 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is hosted in Vienna. Greece is set to compete in the first semifinal on May 12, vying for a place in the grand final on May 16.
