How much does such a private boat tour cost?
I lived on Zakynthos for six years, it’s a lovely green island (when you get away from the noise of Laganas, Argassi etc.) It has a culture & atmosphere all of its own, typically green forested hills and endless olive groves. Renowned for its wine and olive oil. Favourite beaches.. Azzuro, Yasilikos, Dafni. Renting a boat is a must, to appreciate the spectacular cliffs & caves from sea level. Beautiful clear water. Renting a car or scooter is also essential to reach the more remote, wild and natural parts of the island. Don’t miss out on Porto Limionas, with its deep water inlet perfect for diving and snorkelling. For holidays it’s perfect. For living, I felt a bit claustrophobic there especially in winter when the only way on and off is the ferry, or a few weekly fights to Athens and in the low season the sea gets a bit rough, rain is frequent and there’s not much going on except olive picking and fishing. But spring and summer, when it’s not so crowded, are brilliant.
Food portions are small out there.
