Montreal Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada, federal Industry Minister and Ahuntsic-Cartierville MP Mélanie Joly, and Greek Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis were among those on hand Sunday for Montreal’s annual Greek Independence Day parade.

The parade also marked the 120th anniversary of the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal.

Greek Independence Day is officially celebrated on March 25 every year.
