Greek composer and performer Pericles Kanaris returns to New York, the place where his journey began, where on Thursday, April 16, he will take the stage at Lower East Side’s DROM for a special, one-night-only engagement.
The concert, titled “ΔΡΟΜΟΙ ΠΟΥ ΑΓΑΠΗΣΑ” (Streets I Loved), is more than just a performance; it is a homecoming. Since relocating his creative base to Athens in 2023, this marks Kanaris’ first New York appearance—a heartfelt reunion with the city that once served as his musical laboratory.

Longtime New Yorkers remember when Kanaris first arrived on the scene, transforming the Manhattan Greek music landscape with consecutive sold-out seasons. DROM wasn’t just a venue for him; it was the starting line. The evening promises an intimate, “living room” type of eatmosphere, featuring the collaborative spirit that has always been the hallmark of a Kanaris show. Joining him on stage are the longtime collaborators who helped craft his signature sound:
