Rock fans in Brussels are in for a treat, with a high-energy retrospective of Greece’s pivotal 1990s rock scene being organized by Hellenic Circle at the Madame Moustache venue on Saturday, February 28.
This concert is more than a simple cover night; it is a deep dive into an era defined by poetic lyrics and raw sound, and a celebration of the music that pushed Greek-language rock from the underground into the cultural mainstream.
The tribute spotlights the pillars of the movement, including the post-punk energy of Trypes, the electro-rock fusion of Xylina Spathia, and the melancholic, gothic-leaning sound of Diafana Krina. The socially conscious anthems of Endelecheia and Ypogeia Revmata will also feature prominently, recreating the restless spirit that shaped a generation.
The concert features Panos Gourgiotis on vocals and guitar, Giouli on vocals, Nikos Vogiatzakis on guitar, Andreas Mantzaris on keyboards, Sophie Papakosma on bass and Antonis Papadas on drums.
