Oakleigh’s Live at Warrawee festival is back this Valentine’s Day, inviting families and friends to a free evening of music, culture, and community on Saturday 14 February.
This year, audiences can enjoy the rich sounds of Estudiantina of Melbourne, an ensemble formed in 2024 that has quickly established itself as a significant voice in Australia’s Greek cultural landscape.
With a blend of oud, bouzouki, violin, kanun, accordion, and guitar, the group delivers authentic yet contemporary interpretations of Smyrneika and Rebetiko, bridging heritage and modern artistry.
Live at Warrawee isn’t just about music. Visitors are invited to soak up the vibrant culture of Eaton Mall, Oakleigh’s bustling precinct renowned for its Greek heritage, cafés, bakeries, and restaurants.
Monash Council Mayor Cr Stuart James said the event celebrates both local arts and community spirit.
“Events like Live at Warrawee are all about bringing people together – enjoying local live music, culture, and the unmistakable flavours of Oakleigh.”
When: Saturday 14 February 2026
