The first semifinal in the process to choose Greece’s song for this year’s Eurovision contest will be screened on state ERT television late Wednesday.
The show starts at 9 p.m. and the 14 contestants, in order of appearance, are: Alexandra Sieti, The Astrolabe, Desi G, Akylas, Evangelia, Panagiotis Tsakalakos, Niya, Marseaux, Rossana Mailan, Stefi, Revery, Dinamiss, Stylianos and Spheyaa.
Viewers will be able to vote for their choice by text message, and can send up to 10 texts, at a cost of €0.68 apiece.
The second semifinal will be on Friday, and the final on Sunday.
This year’s 70th edition of the Eurovision song contest will be held in Vienna from May 12-16.
