Erie residents were able to travel to Greece on Saturday.
The Assumption Greek Orthodox Church hosted a smaller version of the Greek festival that takes place in the summertime.
Residents were able to come in and buy delicious servings of Greek food such as baklava.
Volunteers said it’s important to have events like these to celebrate different cultures.
“The church here has a wonderful group of volunteers that embrace our heritage, and so we are happy to share that, and as you can see, we have a wonderful response,” said Stephanie Potous-Eaker, a volunteer.
The event ran from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday.
