The owners of a former petrol station have applied for a licence to play live music and sell alcohol from there.
The former Peartree Bridge garage want to rename the place Fusion MK and serve a mix of Greek and Italian food alongside music and drinks.
They have applied to Milton Keynes City Council for a new Premises Licence and councillors are due to consider the matter next week.
The site houses the car wash immediately off the V8 Marlborough Street and is close to residential houses on Waterside, the Peartree Bridge Inn pub, Peartree Lodge Hotel and the local marina.

The application seeks to play live or recorded music from 11am until midnight from Monday to Sunday and sell alcohol and late night refreshment from 8am until midnight. But councillors have the power to reduce these hours if they grant the application
The hotel, along with residents, have already expressed concerns about parking. traffic management, noise and impact on neighbours, frequency of music and the potential for ‘off sales’ and people going there for alcohol late at night.
A spokesperson for Fusion MK said a clear complaints procedure would be established for local residents, with management contact details displayed prominently, and regular meetings will be scheduled with neighbours to address any concerns.
There would also be soundproofing measures and volume limiters installed to minimise noise transmission as well as regular volume checks/
The spokesperson added: “We are committed to operating in a manner that respects our neighbours and contributes positively to the community. We welcome any further recommendations or conditions the committee may wish to propose.”
